Charles was a few years ahead of me at Bibb County High School. Outstanding athlete in every sport, with terrible misfortunes with the 76ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I saw him effortlessly hit seven jumpers in a row from the time line in a high school playoff game. In any offense except CM's he would have led the NCAA in scoring. Hell, for that matter, he was an incredible baseball player.
