Mike still took a top 15 team and has them poised to play a 1 seed in the 2nd round. I'm happy we are playing well but I'm not thrilled where we will likely end. If he can get us to a 5 or 6 seed then I'll eat crow.

This is where our disconnect is as a fan base. I agree with you. We shouldn't always have a midseason skid. We shouldn't always be in the position where we play a #1 seed in the 2nd round of the tourney. We need to be more consistent all season long.
We can all still be Hog fans without being sunshine pumpers 24/7. It's OK to have expectations. I'm pissed off that we haven't been to a sweet 16 in 2 decades. We're better than this.
