What's funny is most people universally agreed Kirby would be a recruiting juggernaut at Georgia. Even people who were not sure about the hire had to begrudgingly admit he would probably be an animal on the recruiting trail. So, it's kind of strange to me that so many people are shocked and triggered by this.

I think it is a backlash to all the new Georgia posters that decided to start off by trolling. Understandable, really. Hopefully they (our new posters)learn. A lot of fan bases have new poster that have done the same, but they have assimilated (for lack of a better word) As a whole we've always pretty much kept to ourselves and people aren't used to what is going on from us.

Was having this exact conversation with a good friend of mine who is a UGA fan.
You take a guy who is the best recruiter in the country not named Nick Saban, and you put him at a school in a state that ranks in the Top 3 in the country in talent production (40 players ranked 4* and higher in 2018), and with zero in-state competition, and people are trying to act surprised that he’s raking in the talent?
Give me a break. Anyone who didn’t see this coming is certifiable.
Here is a thread I started back in January of 2017, warning of the incoming talent gap that would be created in the East. 13 pages of “NUH UH!!”
