I think both Texas and A&M are on a we are just as good as Bama/SEC thing going on. Like the kid at the top of this page. Never heard of him honestly but somehow we are in the top three.

Arjei Henderson's 247 page shows he was once committed to Oklahoma, then Oregon, and has never visted Bama. Yet he tweeted he'll commit to one of his new top-3 (ATM, Bama, OK) in April.

He seems unpredictable, but that's no reason to assume all Texas recruits are flaky or will string us along until the end and then land in TX or OK.

Bobby Brown (immature) did, Verson Jackson somewhat did, but Jaylen Waddle didn't. If a commit doesn't sign in the early period, that pretty much tells you he's not truly committed.

ATM and Texas have promising new coaches, but will they be serious contenders for any titles real soon? And will Oklahoma keep it rolling this season with their new and very young HC? UGA scored 56 on OU, but only 23 on us.
