-Gus made a relatively weak offer
-Luper countered with an offer including a proper raise
-Gus apparently balked
-Seems Luper, though wanted, is not in AU's plans from a money POV right now.
-Is this just Gus's negotiation tactic? Or does he really not want to pay $800k?
