If we beat Bama in 2014, we win the West. So, even a loss to Ole Miss would not have kept us out.

Also, with all the losses in the last 2 weeks, we probably would have backed in had we beaten Ole Miss and our only loss was to Bama.

So, yes, actually we were. I'm sorry you don't like that, but it's true.

Would we have gotten blown out in the first round? Probably. Never said we would have won it, just that we were 1 win from making it. FACT.

But it was fun beating your asses at night in "Death Valley" (lol - not a hard win these days) that year. But I understand you are still butt hurt from this year's arse kicking too.

Spoiler alert - we gonna do it again next year.

We were 10-2 in 2014, yet you say we "weren't even close to being 1 win away from the CFP". shite, we were only 2 wins away from being 12-0. So 2 "isn't even close" to 1? I knew Cajuns were retarded, but damn.

Ole Miss was closer to the playoff in 2015 than state college/starksville in 2014. (one 4th and 25 play away)
in fact Ole Miss was in the top 4 of the CFP poll for 4 weeks in 2014, and kicked the shite out of them in the egg bowl that year, so a better case could be made for Ole Miss than state college in 2014 as well.
