Agree 1000%. There are legitimate issues with income inequalities, sentencing disparities, educational access etc., but it seems like we can't focus on addressing those in a serious fashion due to everything being overpoliticized on every side. This guy was obviously a poor choice to bear the standard for better policing, and that just riles up the folks that think some people should just "stay on their side of town". Next month an innocent motorist will get gunned down and some news agencies will try and find a picture of the guy in a hoodie and trash his reputation to drive viewership. It's ridiculous we live in a time where you have to vet all your news. If we can't all agree on facts we have no chance of fixing the issues facing this country. I firmly believe the majority of people in tghis country are moderates who are willing to make compromises for the greater good. Unfortunately, we have no representation in government, or the media. There is no money in moderation, and that drives everything to the fringes of both sides. /rant off
