Tn just took a low rated corner from Louisiana. Not sure if this is a sign that they don't think they are getting Campbell or not

We were never getting Campbell, and were always going to take multiple DBs. Not sure if we took this kid in hopes of convincing Beal to come as well, or what the deal is w/ him.

We're not getting Campbell, but us taking Brandon Davis has nothing to do with it. It'll be interesting to see if he actually gets a football scholarship or if he is PWO.

spoke to Davis earlier today following his unofficial visit to Tennessee over the weekend. The situation is still fluid, but as I said last night, Davis is an intriguing prospect but nothing more right now. He has no bearing on Tennessee's cornerback board, as Griffin, Smith, Palmer and ITS are all still top targets.

Davis is a two-sport star (shortstop and corner) and spent the weekend meeting with baseball coach Tony Vitello, as well as Jeremy Pruitt, Terry Fair and David Johnson.”

Pruitt has the ability to find prospects from the scrapheap and make them SEC caliber DBs.

Deandre Baker 247 657th ranked, Aaron Davis virtually unranked, and Dom Sanders 247 822nd ranked.
