Still better than saying Bama in a formal press conference. Does UK Administrators say Tuky ? How about UF call the school Flo ? You do not hear another school shorten the name of it school as a term of endearment. Even UNC uses the entire word Carolina. Saying Bama sounds like some redneck who is too lazy to say the entire word. Maybe it is appropriate for the school.
