Arguing about QBs with Huddie is futile. Save your breath. I appreciate his passion for Bama but he's still sore about Blake Barnett for God's sake.

I am sore that Jalen Hurts cost us the national title last year and the Auburn game this year. Especially the Auburn game because Tua, who is wayyy better than Blake Barnett will ever be, should have gotten a chance to win that game, but didn't.

See what I mean?

Jalen Hurts was a true freshman FORCED into action last year because we didn't have an older QB capable of getting the job done. By your own admission, Saban prefers older players, and yet he went with a true freshman at QB. What does that tell you about Barnett and Bateman? You're an imbecile if you really think that he cost us a title last year.

I don't disagree about the AU game. I would have liked to see him get a shot but I don't think it would have mattered. But at the end of the day I'm happy we won the natty. I'll take that over beating AU any day.

Jalen didn't cost us against Clemson. The team put up 31 points. The refs let Clemson run 99 plays without a penalty. Once Clemson figured this out they ran their offense with impunity. Dabo told them get away with anything could and admitted it after the game. The thing is Clemson should have won by three TD's given the leeway they were granted.
