Shouldn't be that hard to fathom Tua would be safer with the ball in games than he would be trying to make big plays in practice to get some PT in games.

Doesn't mean squat if you never turn the ball over if you can't move the team and convert on 3rd down. Makes it that much worse when FG kicking is not sound. Also wears the D down because the offense doesn't sustain drives.

CNS was going to go with the elder guy no matter how few picks Tua threw in practice.

What? If you want to get on the field, then you need to show that you won't turn it over in practice.
