Pitt has a better claim than UCF

Pitt is currently the college football title belt holder, and has the only legitimate claim to any champions status, outside the winner of UGA vs Bama
Entering this season, Clemson held the title belt and we’re unanimously regarded as the defending champions. They defended it successfully 6x before losing it to Syracuse.
Syracuse was the world champ for a week, ceding the title to Miami.
Miami held the belt second longest this season, before losing it in a stunning upset in which Narduzzi called a Babe Ruth like shot at half time. This of course cost Clemson their chance to regain the title a week later, and for the second year in a row have the belt carried into the playoff.
So there you have it, 5-7 Pittsburgh is the only team with a legitimate championship claim outside the CFB playoff.

But we beat LSU who beat Auburn who beat Georgia and Alabama so we have a claim right? Just don’t tell ole miss since they beat us. They’d actually hang a banner for it.

Pitt won the natty last year after they beat 2 conference champs and the "AP" "National Champion".
Stop being butthurt and fighting parity in college football, UCF is this years champ, Pitt was last years.

The title belt it the only objective method to claim a champion, everything else is up to subjective personalities.
