What? No. We won 11 out of 12 games in our regular season, thereby winning our division.

Devaluing the regular season would be a 4 loss South Carolina winning their division and beating Auburn for the SECCG and then being included in the 4 team Playoff. All of a sudden, losing 4 games doesn't really matter so long as the breaks you neede to get them the division happen. UGA already had the division won before we ever lost to Auburn.

And it turns out that it has actually helped the regular season because it only adds one more game beyond the bowls to decide the national champion. I think they've found the best system for the sport; they will never make everyone happy.

It's this system. This system would have had 2007 and 2002 UGA included in the Playoff. This system works.
