SC is a big enough job to lure anyone on that list here. It's all about money, fan support, fertile recruiting grounds, facilities and conference affiliation these days ... and we have all of those going for us.

Right. Its a question of finding a guy that is the right fit and runs the sort of offense that Muschamp wants at USC. And kudos for y'all playing your cards close to the vest on this one. The nightmare at Tennessee shows what happens when you blab about who your coaching targets are.

You know, he's going to be on the market and without Bielema holding him back Dan Enos could make a fine OC for someone. He has SEC experience and while our lack of an O-line and an injured QB (because of our O-Line play) crippled the offense last year Enos put up some quality numbers his first two years at Arkansas.

I've gotten some info on this fwiw ... it's vague but here goes:

mUSChamp had a yardstick high stack of resumes on his desk. A lot of OCs and potential OCs want the job. He wanted someone who had OC experience.

He narrowed it down to four and has spent time focusing-on and talking-to those four. One in particular he was/is hoping to lure away from another program.

Decision has been made. We're waiting on the details of all the new contracts to be ironed-out between agents and our attorneys, our AD and Board of Trustees.

Boom is getting a nice raise but he sacrificed some to make more room for his assistants and this new hire and that's what's being worked-out ... who gets what cut and incentives built into T-Rob's, BMac's, Lance Romance's and the new OC's contracts.

Should be announcing pretty soon. It's all pretty-much done.
