wrong. He was never more than mediocre at LSU. He was a poor decision maker. Notre Dame's defense made him look far better than he was. He simply wasn't bright enough for NFL success, and he wasn't off by just a little.

Wrong. In his redshirt junior season, Russell led the SEC with a 67.8 completion percentage and a 167.0 efficiency rating. The completion percentage was sixth nationally and the efficiency rating was third overall. He also threw 28 touchdowns with only eight interceptions. Russell was very good that season.
