This is the exact attitude to take.

Only invest what you're fine losing.

I started with about $6k a few weeks ago and have already turned about $3100 profit on ETH. Wife did about $2k on Ripple and has turned about $3k on that as well.

IMO, this is great for just making some free money really quick. This isn't likely to end up a major developer of wealth for anyone, long term, that is just now getting into it. The bubble is GOING to burst at some point. I do think crypto will still rebound, post-bubble-burst, to the current types of numbers but it won't be this immediate kind of cash grab like we're seeing now.

IOTA is supposed to be the next big crypto, from what I've read. They are apparently going away from the "blockchain" methodology and using something else (I think they call it tangle)....but it eliminates the "mining" that is done with Bitcoin, which is a major drain on the power grid. Apparently Microsoft and Samsung have both jumped on board in some capacity with either backing or using IOTA.
