Makes two of us. I remember saying they waved the white flag when they hired the clown.
I remember the USC athletic director laughing when asked if he'd be considered to take over after his interim role there.

Doubtful. But he will probably leave the cupboard relatively well stocked for the next guy.

Based on what?

You seem like the average LSU alum to me.

LSU was a "powerhouse" for a very short period in It's history. It's doubtful that period will repeat for any length of time, statistically speaking.

Aside from a 90s natty Alabama was mostly a dump until Saban returned. LSU is in a much better position than they were

The only time LSU has been a “powerhouse” was after it was built by a man who has been gone for 13+ years and even a grass eating moron couldn’t screw it up until 7 years later.
Ed isn’t building LSU into a power as long as he is literally surrounded by better coaches than him at Bama, AU, A&M, Florida, and UGA

Hope is a powerful thing, no matter how misplaced it may be.

Well since he became the permanent coach at LSU he hasn’t lost to the “better coaches” at Auburn, A&M, or Florida. Only lost to Saban once and will get his shot to beat Kirby next season
I’m not saying he’s the savior but with his staff and LSU’s talent how hard can it be to be successful?

He hadn’t played the better coach at A&M yet. He will probably beat Jimbo in year one, but I’d bet on Jimbo over Ed long term.
And yes, he has lost to the better coach at Florida. He got his arse whipped by that better coach when he was at MSU. Now that better coach is at a premier program. It won’t get any easier for Ed.

It’s in that binder, right? Just like Coach Red Beaulieu, right?

Reading comprehension just baffles you doesn't it. Try rereading my post, then read yours again and see if you can figure it out.
Good luck.

Aranda will be gone by the end of next season, probably Canada too. At some point O might actually have to do some actual coaching.
How long until LSU realizes you need a real Head Coach in O's position...not a head cheerleader?
