There's a man who has put on a hundred pounds in under five years, and has the look and sound of someone whose been wrung out like a dish towel. His, the players, and fans' dreams alike, broken because we all believed in the wrong thing. Is there any one person who can look at that and truly believe this job wouldn't have literally been the death of him within another five years if he got to stay that long? 50 years old with a wife and small child is a shitty way to die.

Yeah, he's gonna be alright. He'll never have to work again. If only we could all be so fortunate. There are human enotions at play for everyone, though. It's not wrong to acknowledge that and wish it could be different.
