So, what is everybody's opinion of the SEC and all the shite talk from the rest of the country.

ESPN= Says SEC has lost its power, not the dominate conference anymore

Coaches Poll= always trying to down vote SEC teams

Big name Coaches= always throwing darts in interview about the SEC and how its not a power conference.

But yet, here we are again:

1. 2 out of 4 teams in the playoff are SEC

2. Finished the season with 3 SEC teams with possible playoff hopes

3. Second time in National Title history 2 SEC teams possibly playing in the NCG.

In conference play only:

ACC= 10/14 Teams at or under .500
BIG 12= 8-/10 Teams at or under .500
PAC 12= 7/12 Teams at or under .500
SEC= 9/14 Teams at or under .500
Big 10= 9/14 Teams at or under .500

So for the most part, no conference this year can say the other conference is weaker in win percentage

But the SEC can damn sure say, they had the stronger teams. BAMA, GEORGIA, AUBURN

What's the rest of the SEC's Opinion????

Football is a zero sum game. Comparing conferences by records is pointless until bowl games are played.

They wouldn't be talking about us if we were not good. Are we as good as we were several years ago? no. But we are the best Conference in the country or close to it.

Big12: 80% of conference .500
ACC: 71% of conference .500
SEC: 64% of conference .500
Big 10: 64% of conference .500
PAC 12: 58% of conference .500

What's it mean...nothing. Can't wait to see how this all plays out, even though I hate the current process.

here's another angle...

Teams w/ 7+ wins overall (actual winning records)

9/14 (.643) SEC
6/10 (.600) B12
7/12 (.583) P12
7/14 (.500) ACC
7/14 (.500) B10
