You Georgia fans

I mean... I can make blanket statements about Florida fans as well, but mostly I was unaware that Kerryon Johnson was a significant contributor on the defensive side of the ball... Him being in the game most certainly had *an* impact... but that was his and/or Gus' choice... sorry they didn't have the backfield depth to weather the injury... or maybe they shouldn't have run him into the ground all season long?

None of that changes that we scored 28 on their defense, 4 points were negated by an illegitimate penalty, and by the end we were just running out the clock. Our OLine made adjustments and simply didn't let their defense play to what they had done previously... Lost in all the discussion here on KJ is that Stidham was objectively terrible... he had a couple of nice throws, but overall was just bad. That's not strictly on KJ or his injury... they simply didn't have the ability to rely on him as a safety valve.

Will Muschamp, too, had quite a stellar year his second year at Florida cashing in on the talent recruited before him.

You've. Already. Lost.

You're here lurking around our boards and you say we're afraid?

I've been on your boards intermittently most of this season... Don't act like it's something new... Sorry for partying? I mean, you might be irked by a post of mine here or there, but for the most part, I'd say I call em pretty fair... whether it's about your coaching search, recruits, etc... It's not like I sit here and troll with every post.

So don't come in here telling me every now and again Georgia rotates some WR every third drive for a play or two and it's not your running backs carrying your offense.

There you go putting words in my mouth... There is a world of difference between saying "Kirby is only winning with Richt's players" vs "Underclassmen have had a significant role in this team's success"...

Starts tells me what... one play? I tend to look at production and time on the field... thus the need to account for who rotates in. Tyler Clark has seen more time this season as a sophomore than Trenton Thompson as a Jr... regardless of who gets the start. Blazevich may play more snaps, but we run 2 TE frequently, which is generally Nauta - the only one of the 2 who receives much attention in the passing game. Swift has accounted for ~15% of our rushing attempts and 18% of our rushing yards by a running back... and is our 4th leading receiver... Mecole Hardman is third...

Second leading total tackles on the defense? JR Reed... brought in by Kirby

Leading receiver? Wims... brought in by Kirby

Ultimately, we can agree to disagree... I expect no less. But just know that you look ridiculously uninformed.

Kerryon Johnson

You understand that the less a team is on the field, the better their defense is, right?

Johnson had 13 touches in the SECCG, he had 32 when he was fresh.

Their team had 25 first downs with Kerryon, without they had 18.

TOP? 33:06 Game 1, 26:58 game two.

That you're trying to pretend that the offense making consistent first downs and staying on the field doesn't help the defense is breathtaking.

You saw what happened to Georgia when they lost their rushing threat -- only 13 first downs the entire game. Take away your best players, your defense gives up 488 yards.

You can say that Kirby ''adjusted'', you can say that you guys were ready for this game...

Or you can admit that the only reason Georgia won in that fashion is because their best player and the offensive player of the year for the SEC was out, who killed you the first game.

Wims (top receiver) is not Kirby's.

Derp...

ETA... too many comments to reply to... why you have to be so dumb Straws?

Wims wasn't developed by Kirby? He's a transfer senior. Malik Zaire being good or bad is not on McElwain in the same way that Wims being good or bad is not on Kirby's. Good job getting a guy to transfer??? That doesn't mean he developed him. What player has Kirby developed?
