While this will be nice for the Vols, I'm a little sad for the good people of Pullman. My brother lives there. It's a nice town. I enjoy visiting when I can.
The Coug fans show up every week for GameDay with their flag and they've been doing so since well before Leach was there. Their program was in a deep, deep abyss after Mike Price left. Leach put the Cougs back on the map in the Pac 12.
The Coug flag will keep flying on GameDay and for sure all over the Palouse. But this will probably set their program back quite a while. Might be good for the Oregon schools though. All 4 Northwest Pac 12 schools can never be good at the same time. Somebody's gotta be shitastic.
I guess it may finally be time for the Vols to rebound after the dead cat bounce with Lyle. If nothing else, Leach will be guaranteed to entertain.
