It's really hard to understate just how arrogant and evil Texas is. People don't believe it until they have really experienced it.

Of course it had nothing to do with SMU adopting 85 extended families & letting their sons play a little ball for them. shite, even the Governor was nice enough to help out.
Nice touch by Aggy as well, kicking in a new gold Trans Am so one poor kid could make it to the Southern Methodist campus.
But no, Texas has to go buy all those slow 5’10 white QB’s out of Houston private schools that were 3rd generation Longhorns. The Rice program has never recovered.

Let's not forget that your coach played a part in all of the NCAA investigation into the conference the resulting disruption. LOIC and Kevin Murray and all that mess.
And Ken Davis at TCU. SMU. The entire conference was cheating egregiously. UT certainly was, as well.
The black eye that was SMU painted the conference as such.
