I've actually never thought that. Everybody here ribs and pokes, but generally there is no power grab that I see among the schools.

People who don't realize that Texas really does operate this way have just never had to put up with them. Seriously, just read a couple of interviews if DeLoss Dodds around 2010. Even my die-hard orange-loving uncle says he screwed them over for a long time to come.
