Seeing the reaction from former Gators has got me excited as hell about this hire. I wasn't crazy about it at first, but I am warming up to it, and I'm very excited about our program!

Hopefully we will see some assistant hires soon

Go Gators!!

Can't be keeping a look a like for a former coach. Gotta keep with the times.

I was warming up then I heard the rumor that we are paying Mullen 7.5 a year then I felt sick. This is why I didn’t want him because it would cost to much . We could get a lot of better choices for that price like Leach , Kiffin , Petrino, Fuentes or maybe even Franklin.

I'm growing more excited about it the more I think about it.

We know one sure thing. Corral is coming. His tweeter showed e loves the hire. Hell yes.

We also know Mullen is a damn good QB guy.

Corral about to light up the Swamp baby!!!!!

Why is that a problem?

If anything that's good news. It means the days of a cheap UAA are finally done at UF.

That’s 2 million more then Kelly is getting and he was our first guy on the list and it’s likely the same for difference from what Frost will make . It would make him the 3rd highest payed college coach. He would make 3 million more then guys like Franklin and Fuente who we all thought were untouchable.

I can’t see that rumor of 7.5 million being true . Stricklin acted like UF wasted going to over pay for a coach and that would be way above Mullen’s market value .

I don't mind Mullen making 7.5 million to be our HC. I hate it when UF is paying millions of dollars for someone not to be our HC.

How in the world do you think these guys are better options? Let's break them down one by one:

1. Mike Leach- Why on earth is he better than Dan's offense? That air raid shite is too soft for the SEC. See kevin Sumlin if you'd like to see how Leach would perform in the SEC.

2. Lane Kiffin- unproven as a head coach and was mediocre in his 1 year at Tennessee. Plus, I just don't trust him.

3. Bobby Petrino- this dude is scummy and can't even win 10 games with Lamar Jackson.

4. Justin Fuentes- What has Fuentes done at VT that's more impressive than Mullen having MSU ranked #1 for a few weeks?

5. James Franklin- He is a good coach, but honestly his past at Vanderbilt is shady AF.

that sounds like MSU's fault. why would the go that low? if that isn't the negotiated number, why didn't they increase it after last year?

It was likely Stricklin who gave that low buyout to Mullen

He is bringing Billy back to us. Favorite part of the hire so far. Billy is a stud WR recruiter. He was a monster when here so glad he is back.

If only we could get Addazio back for the Oline...my God. He sucked as OC but that man could recruit and put the best offensive line since the great wall on the field.
