Yeah that is odd, but we as fans always want someone that wants to be at our University, as opposed to just a hired gun.
I always thought Jones actually wanted to be at Tennessee and loved it in Knoxville, just didn't work out.

I agree with that. Jones tried but the job was ultimately too big for him. He's a 9 win coach at his best with lesser seasons in between and that's just not acceptable.
