Agreed. His tenure actually reminds me of how Muschamp went down at UF. He had a season of injuries that murdered UF and followed it up with a mediocre season. The fatal error for Jones was not hanging on to Debo. Larry Scott is simply horrible as an OC.

But what I truly want to know about Jones' tenure is whether or not he truly controlled who played. I can't understand why Bob Shoop suddenly turned into Sal Sunseri.

Also, Josh Dobbs may well be one of the best players the SEC has ever had. It truly could've been all him.

Yeah that is odd, but we as fans always want someone that wants to be at our University, as opposed to just a hired gun.

I always thought Jones actually wanted to be at Tennessee and loved it in Knoxville, just didn't work out.
