Nashville is one of the fastest growing recruiting beds in the country. It will soon be on par with some of the best areas in the country if the trends continue.

Yeah, and again, UT doesn't have the benefit of having it all to themselves. They are deeply entrenched in East Tennessee, that's really the only part of the state they have a firm grasp on. Nashville is as much about 10 different schools as is is UT, not to mention Vandy fans do in fact exist.
