I don't know what the CFP committee is trying to prove. They're using horrible judgement.
Miami is undefeated and should be #1 or #2 after their last two commanding wins.
How are Oklahoma and Clemson four and five spots better than Georgia? I realize their losses were more competitive, but they were also to much shittier teams than Auburn. ISU is 6–4, Syracuse is 4–6 and might not make a Bowl.
Auburn has two losses, but they're quality losses and they've also beaten two or three really good teams, so I understand having trouble placing them.
It'll all even out in the end, but they honestly just don't know what the hell they're doing.

I think with Georgia, it was overrating to make Notre Dame look good, but even still, everyone was losing to get Georgia at #2 in any other poll, so...
I still stand by no one stands out this year, not even the undefeated teams and that's going to really show in the end.

I think you can make a case for Miami to be above Clemson. But, Clemson and OU have better resumes than Wisconsin, Auburn and Georgia.
