I just want to field a competitive team that looks like they know what the hell theyre doing on both sides of the ball... is it too damn much to ask

looks like smart doing well at uga this year has lit a fire under the respective asses of UF and tenn.
would be nice to have all 3 playing good football again. i've never been so "meh" about back to back east titles (we've had several in the last few decades). knew we were gonna get clobbered by bama.
kelly was and still is my first choice. i know frost represents youth and a longer "tenure", but that's a silly reason to hire a head coach if something more proven like kelly is on the table.
hell, we'll probably get helfrich as an oc. oregon dropped off last year, but it was the defense that did em in. helfrich's offense was still bad arse.

I didn't believe ATL at first when he said that there would be a good bit of Gator fans who don't want Chip, but holy frick there are.
Who the frick doesn't like winning? If he can take a team like Oregon -- who didn't finish first in the PAC since 2001 -- and literally finish first in the PAC all 5 years while at Oregon and compete with huge programs, what can he do at Florida?
We need this hire -- a true and tried coach with an offensive mind who has a brand that can be sold. There's a reason most fans from other teams are straight up terrified if we hire Chip Kelly.
