[quote]Good lord, fellow. Since divisional play began in 1992, Florida has won more games than any other SEC team, won 3 national titles and 7 SEC titles. That's an awful lot of hits, and relatively few misses.

So we throw out the previous history and just rely on their very best years?

Yes. They had a great run. So, you tell us. Why did it stop? they made some bad coaching hires. If they are showing a penchant for making bad hires, why do you think, all of a sudden, they will make a home run hire?
If it was merely a foregone conclusion, then why haven't they?
Look, they might make a home run hire. But it is just as silly to say they definitely will as it is to say they definitely will not. Nobody knows if they will or will not. What we do know is they have no been doing it, so somebody is making poor choices concerning football coaches. If the same people are still in charge, why are they all of a sudden going to start making smart choices?

If you only want to go by past great seasons, then it is inevitable that Nebraska will make a great hire and become a major power again, right? just because a school had a great stretch does not mean they will have one again.

Project Miami is in full swing.

We brought Kirby to UGA to do what he's doing, and sent Richt to Miami to steal all of UF's recruits and become the power house of the state.
