You are disagreeing on the premise of what might happen. The point is that Notre Dame's scheduling is tough enough to overcome the lack of a conference Championship Game. It is what it is. If their opponents keep winning, they will have better wins then UGA or Alabama or Clemson or Ohio State or Oklahoma Etc
