Ok, enought of the "Ole Miss gave us the game" talk...

If I remember correctly, we were down 21 points, right? And some say that we were given the turnovers.
What I wish to frame in this conversation is this. Was it simply given, or do we take it.
Our D is still mediocre overall, but I know of one ball punched loose, and another interception, and another fumble recovered.
So, our team actually had to act, work, and do the comeback as well. We are not giving our team any credit at all. It takes guts for a team to do what we did, in an away game, after losing the way we have the past few weeks.
This isn't a CBB apologist thread, but I am defending our players. By now I think I would have waved the white flag, thrown in the towel, let go of the rope, crapped the bed... and all other loser clichés I can think of
They didn't. for that I am proud. C'mon folks, lets give them some credit for pete's sake.

They absolutely WERE gifted that game, man.
The team gets credit for forced turnovers and scoring enough points to win the game though, for sure. But that final scoop and score was extremely fortuitous to say the least.
Team fought hard, but were still lucky to win against arguably the worst team in the SEC.

Heck with the way the season has gone, it takes guts just to put on the uniform and make it to the sidelines.
I do give the players credit, they did well but I still want our beastly coach to go on his merry way.

I didn't give Rutgers, Missouri, or Virginia Tech as much credit for winning their gifted games as I gave to the Hogs for losing. Similarly, Matt Luke lost more than we won. But that is something no Bielema team at Arkansas has ever managed to do, so of course they get some credit and should feel proud.
