With a head to head loss to us. And, if they watched the game, they would know we could have put up 17 more points on ND.

Head to head loss won't matter and will be easily written off. The old adage "if you are going to lose, lose early" still holds true. Early losses to top teams will be spun as a positive ("turning point", "wake up call") for both Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Oh I'm not saying ND should go in over a 1 loss UGA. But if playoff committee looks at resumes, ND has more good wins. We would only have ND
