So it looks like we are gonna have to beat everyone without a passing game hoping they can't stop the run. Better to take our chances being one dimensional than to try our luck with a passing game and a running game. Saban is gonna have a tough decision to make this year and I hope it doesn't happen this Saturday against a team that lost to troy. We have run over some really bad defenses so far and the 2 teams with average defenses really limited our offense.

We get one get out of jail free card if Georgia wins the Auburn game.

We can drop a game and are still guaranteed a spot in the playoff by virtue of a win over #1 Georgia in the SEC championship.

And this is critically important this year. Because of the unanswered questions concerning our offensive balance. A loss prior to the SEC. Championship will likely be the result of a sort of offensive breakdown due to a lack of passing. That loss will provide Saban the logical justification for going to a two QB system just in time to avoid disaster.

So we have every reason to pull for Georgia from here on out.

I am not predicting a loss. Simply stating that we all know why we might lose and it's better to have it happen before the SEC championship so that we can all get real and wake up and smell the coffee before our season is on the line.
