I keep this in my pocket for moments like this. Some of you have seen it before. Hurts is good at not turning the ball over. His team is dominant. When he is asked to do more this happens.

2016
Florida 11 of 20, 55% completion for 138
Washington 7 of 15, 50% completion for 57 yards
Clemson 13 of 31, 42% completion for 131

2017
Florida State 10 of 18, 55% completion for 96 yards
Vanderbilt 9 of 17, 53% completion for 78
Texas A&M (LOL) 13 of 22, 60% completion for 123 yards

Only one of those games would be considered "being asked to do more".

Hurts does struggle passing at times, but really, think of how unfair it'd be if Bama had a great throwing QB.
