No, but there has to be some kind of interesting story associated with why you don't play an in state team for 78 years

First, they didn't have a team for 18 years, you senile old bastard. Second, they aren't even remotely our "rival". Tulane was our in state rival. Politics has seen to an end of that. And with an SEC schedule and the seasons not being 12 games like now, the rivalry games between LSU and Tulane, and LSU and A&M, gave us enough cupcakes to beat up on. 32-20.
