Because they're insecure.
Bama kept him in check so he must suck, right?
Turns out, yeah, not so much. And they hate that. A part of them feels like it takes away from their win.
This is why no matter how hard I try, I cant hate bama fans. The insecurity is just too adorable.

Which makes no sense. It only enhances the legend of how good we were.
