In some ways Georgia and in some ways LSU.

Louisiana has the highest NFL talent per capita in the country battling it out often every year with Mississippi and South Carolina and usually coming out on top. However, Georgia often isnt far behind. I think what gives LSU a slight edge here is that they have no in-State competition for those recruits like UGA has(GTech) and their State doesnt get ravaged as much by out-of-state schools like the State of Georgia does.

Also, those LA recruits are more loyal to LSU than GA recruits are to UGA. That wasnt always the case but it has been since DiNardo/Saban to LSU and Richt to GA, respectively.

One big plus for Georgia is that while the per capita numbers favor LA for percentage of recruits the overall numbers greatly favor GA because Georgia is just a much more populous State. 4 million to 10.3 million.

Id say fan and facility support is probably about even between the schools.

Ive always thought both schools were sleeping giants and could never understand why they werent more successful. Both schools should dominate their respective divisions and see each other in the SECCG nearly every year. It goes to show how much coaching matters.

I know a lot of people have been downvoted for pointing this out but playing in the East certainly gives GA an edge at least lately. Of course that can change in the future as the East has been really dominate in certain eras.
