I never said it didn't make sportscenter.
I said that a highlight reel for Fromm's best moments will not include a jump ball at the 20 yardline where the receiver does all the work.
It is not considered a game winner. Even the kick for Blankenship isn't considered a highlight reel game winner because of all the time left on the clock.
I may get your point. Someone has scored a point for UGA in every game which put us up. That is an important point in the game. But these aren't game winner highlight reels like we have from David Greene, Matt Stafford, Aaron Murray, and even Jacob Eason.
It just isn't the same. Give the kid time. He might get us a moment like that this season or next. But don't manufacture fake news. It is sad and desperate.

quote:It should be on his highlight reel. He put it up for his receiver to get it. Do we leave Aaron Rodgers' hail mary passes off of his reel?

Sportscenter only shows a few plays from a game for their highlight reel, and they picked all the right ones. The ball was placed where and when it needed to be with the pressure coming and in a pressure situation. That's what good qbs do and smart football people recognize that instead of trying to minimalize it. I guess it's not a big deal to you until it's done with less than a minute left?
