I find it funny how if this was a negative thing from the Dooley yrs his name would be dropped to blame him multiple times in a thread, and when a positive thing comes up he isnt mentioned at all.
(and no i'm not his mom, wife, etc. I just like trolling the Legion of the Miserable, arm of the UT fanbase about the Dooley yrs and how things aren't always green on the other side. Blaming them for Butch too.)

After a 53 year streak of having players drafted we had 2 straight Dooley classes without a single player taken.

Worley really wanted to go to South Carolina. Rock Hill, his hometown, is just 70-odd miles up up I-77 from Columbia. But Spurrier did not want him.

And yet the Vol AD still retains Butch.
