The discussion as I remember it was who should start: Eason or Fromm? The discussion then delved into comparison between the two and the body of work each has accumulated so far. We got hung up on whether or not Fromm (incorrectly) locks on to targets instead of going through his progressions to find better options to throw to. This play became a focal point of that discussion since Michel was wide open and the ball hit the ground inches in front of a diving defender, almost picking it off. This play, therefore, was shown as a good example of how Fromm made a bad decision and is therefore more of a liability than Eason.
