It wasn't a lot of ground until he was blocked. Lbs often have the rb covered out of the backfield. It's routine.

The LB was too far inside to cover a wheel route. I don't know what to tell you. Almost every time a LB tires to cover a RB running a wheel route it is going for huge yards. Add to that Sony's speed....the LB had no chance whether he got tripped u or not.
