Miles 2007, sure, miles 2014-2015, no. He became to stubborn to change and too loyal to Cam.
Our offense was very predictable and would have always given us 8 wins with the occassional 10 win season, but that was the ceiling.
It was time for a change when we started finishing 3rd in the West.
Coach O was definitely not the answer, but a change was necessary.
Lou Holts won a natty at Notre Dame, but when he left, he was no longer competative. Same with many great coaches.
Could we fall into being mediocre or worse, sure.
Georgia struggled with the same thing, but looks like they made a really good hire and probably looked for 2 years before making the change. We did it mid season and saw improvement right away and I think that skewed the search.
We may become the worst in the SEC, but I still think this team can improve and win a few games.
