Yea, it's a bit ineffective. When you piss off a significant portion of the country, you're not really getting your point across in the right manner. There has to be another mechanism.
And I'm someone who doesn't care nor believe it is really that disrespectful to the military.

You do realize that people like MLK and Ali were hated by a majority of the country when they were leading their protests don't you?
