I don't know what Bielema's style is, but there are whole groups that need their asses motivated to do better, or they need to watch from the sidelines. I'd rather see the ones who want to give their all, and the freshmen lose games than these guys.

What the frick does Bert even do on game day? I never see him utter a word on the sideline, and he always stands there with that same dumbfound, lost look that John L Smith and Nutt both had during games.

Why isn't he lighting a fire under people's asses? I saw the bit with the offense today, but it didn't appear fiery in the least. Hell he didn't even look like he was arguing calls with the refs. I'm not asking him to be a crazy person, or to even have the sideline demeanor of Saban, but for the love of God at least show some passion.

The sideline demeanor is mildly embarrassing, but if the team on the field was out there getting after it every play, I wouldn't care if he stood there with one hand down his pants, and picking his nose with the other.

I don't really think any amount of emotion is going to make a lot of difference during a game. I was tired of having an obvious prick on our sidelines by the time Petrino imploded, but if being an arse like Petrino or Saban is what it takes to motivate these guys properly, I'm ready for a sideline monster that has parents and the media calling him out for his brutality.

I think it's much more important to be that guy the other 6 days of the week than game day though.
