e sounded to me like a guy that had been up for about 48 hours with minimal sleep, had no power in his own home up until a few minutes before the press conference, had the responsibility of ensuring the safety of 100+ players, his entire staff, grad assistants, trainers, and all of their families, and had a huge football game coming up on Saturday.

Yeah, he sounded exhausted. Understandably so. I'm going to cut him some slack for seeming a little tired during a Wednesday press conference. I'll have less "slack" for him on Saturday, especially with a loss or bad performance, but Jesus Christ, cut him some slack today.

Yeah, you know what I love to do with minimal preparation for a Tennessee team because my entire state was wrecked by a hurricane?

I just love giving thirty minute press conferences to go over shite that almost everyone knew already. Nothin' beats having to go get ready for a bunch of bad questions when all you want to do is coach your team up but ya can't because you're too busy fielding questions.

This is probably the ultimate, last thing on his mind after Michigan, the hurricane, suspensions etc. Poor frickin' dude.

And acknowledging he has a reason to be exhausted and giving him a pass for not bringing energy to a press conference is "excuses". Give me a fricking break

The excuses for a loss to UT have begun. MAYBE HE SHOULD ACT LIKE THIS GAME IS A MOMENT TO HELP FLORIDA HEAL. TO ALLOW PEOPLE TO STEP AWAY FROM THEIR PROBLEMS FOR 3 HOURS. TO SHOW SOME ENERGY THAT THIS GAME RIGHT HERE IS THE FIRST STEP IN HEALING FOR THIS STAFF, UNIVERSITY, TEAM AND STATE. THAT EVEN THOUGH A HURRICANE MAY DESTROY OUR HOMES, COMMUNITIES AND IN SOME CASES FAMILY IT WILL NOT DESTROY OUR DETERMINATION TO ACHIEVE OUR GOALS NOT JUST FOR US BUT FOR ALL OF GATORNATION. ADVERSITY IS A PART OF LIFE AND NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR GREAT IT IS WE WILL FACE IT HEAD ON AND OVERCOME IT NOT JUST AS A FOOTBALL TEAM, UNIVERSITY OR COMMUNITY BUT AS A FAMILY. BECAUSE GATORS TAKE CARE OF GATORS.
