Who asks questions like this? It's the equivalent of asking a bunch of college students what they think of that 3rd grader who beat up another 3rd grader.
Perhaps this is your first time on a college football message board but this is exactly the type of thing that we adults do often on football message boards. Someone proposes a hypothetical and then you have a parade of posts with some reasonable fans giving honest responses and others from some homer fans giving irrational posts.
Frankly, if you look at many of my other posts here where I don't ask a hypo, invariable I will have several posters turn it into this hypo: where they will speculate on where TCU would be in the SEC or where the conferences rank and so on. The only difference here is I ask the question after TCU played an SEC opponent.
Finally, nothing wrong with giving people a chance to get on the TCU bandwagon early.

No, you're just being needy, coming onto an SEC message board and asking questions about how much we like the horny toads. I'm sorry people aren't appreciating your program to the degree you desperately wish they would, but TCU is a flash-in-the-pan without any qualities that would draw the SEC's love. It's not your fault -- you live in a state with multiple big brothers overshadowing you -- but your hypotheticals are going to be worthless before long, when TCU goes back to obscurity. Frankly, looking at the list of B12 programs, "TCU" finishes behind "wherever Patterson decides to coach next" in the rankings of desirable programs.
