all that matters - dude is a very good leader and can make plays, with his arm and his legs. I'm still waiting to see if he has improved much or not but I like Hurts back there and think he will help put bama in position to compete for a championship again. Time will tell.

He had a couple deep balls that looked very good. Some dropped passes by young receivers, a few bad throws. All in all a solid game. If he can become accurate on the mid-range he will be absolutely deadly given his running ability. I am very excited to see where he goes from here.

Yeah, he's 15-1 as a starter, and got his team the lead in the final minutes of the national championship game. Bama hasn't had a stats leading passing QB in a while. Someone mentioned Blake Sims setting records, but that offense was still heavy on RB.

The thing I like about Jalen as much as any athletic ability is his poise. He fumbled his first play in college brushed it off like it never happened. His passing ability may be like a guy in his 2nd year but between the ears he's already a veteran.
