Yea I think it's good that I decided to stay in Mississippi for this one. I just couldn't see myself meshing at all with them. Plus I would have gladly taken my old Ole Miss rebel flag and probably found some loud speaker to play slow Dixie. I know all of that's in the past and should let it go, but people don't know their history. They just believe what they want to. And I would only do it out of southern hospitality. Even though it has nothing to do with them, I wouldn't on purpose wave it in a crowd of blacks or crazy whites. It's just our heritage. No where it should be racial but I know these days you can't do anything without being labeled that.

Anyways, we might should set an O/U on how many fight videos turn up from those idiots out there, or number of protesters. I mean they've got to have something that day to protest, so I'm sure it will be our school.

Generally, I think trying to erase history is part of a fascist playbook. However, there are millions of Buddhist that say the same thing about the Swastika. You can only thank the KKK and white supremacists for turning what some view as heritage into a symbol of hate.

On a football note I am looking forward to getting Bing-Dukes back into the LB rotation. He was voted the most improved defensive player in the Spring and it allows Evans to provide valuable depth in setting the front 7 with the 2nd team (thus why I think Polk got so many snaps with the 2nd string the other night).
