I understand this isn't football related and that the storm isn't supposed to turn up till Sunday but I'd like to let all the UF fans and people who live in Florida know that we are thinking about them and y'all are in my thoughts and prayers... I know we had the debacle last year with the game and hurricane Matthew but all the bs aside this is a dangerous storm.... hunker down and make smart decisions don't wait till it's too late....
Thoughts and prayers from Tiger nation!!
Prayers for the Carolinas, Georgia and Alabama as well, Hope all stay safe!!!

I figured that but in all honesty with the size of this thing everyone anywhere within 100-150 miles on either side of the eye is going to have a problem with it being 300 miles in diameter. If it keeps moving upward and back into the atlantic hopefully it doesnt just ride the east coast and if it gets into the gulf if this cool front comes through to quick or breaks up it will be a huge problem

LSU fan with common sense classiness about a hurricane? Good change of pace.

I'm in Florida. The state is def prepared however, you just have to hope it will turn east and stay off the coast. I guess we will see they seem unsure at this time. Cat 5 with 185 MPH winds is pretty insane. It should die down a little if it does indeed hit South Florida dead on. I'll be in South Florida waiting out the storm for the military's part in this game. Wish the best to all.

Seems these stupid things hit in twos. We went years without having a major storm make landfall and now we are getting a one-two punch. Thoughts are with those in the path of this storm. I may talk a lot of shite on here, but I hate to think we have folks on here in danger. Stay safe everyone.

Seems like 2004 all over again when we got 3 in 4 hours; OK more like 3 in 6 weeks.
The projected path has moved about 100 miles east since yesterday; he's hoping it moves about 500 more miles east.
The only upside to this storm over Harvey is how fast it's moving; about 15 MPH.

Actually Fla got hit with 4 hurricanes in 2004. The large insurance carriers like State Farm, Allstate, Nationwide, Auto Owners and others left the state and refused to sell property coverage...but of course they wanted to sell you auto insurance.
We still don't have those large companies covering property and we haven't had a large hit since 2004 and Matthew couldn't compare to what happened in 2004.

Hey not a problem, I know we all talk a lot of BS on here and say some dumb stuff at times but with something like this that actually puts people in danger it is not something to joke around with...Last years debacle in my opinion was a whiff on both universities but this storm is way worse than Matthew and way larger in size....I hope everyone makes the rite decisions and keeps their families safe......
It is only rite to have common sense and be courteous with what is about to happen

I was referring to the back-to-back-to-back ones specifically.
